Souls in Motion: Movement for Meditation

Explore ancient meditative movement to deepen one’s spiritual life.  “Souls in Motion:  Movement for Meditation” will teach participants ancient forms of meditative movement, suitable for almost any level of physical ability and adaptable to any spiritual journey.  Do you think spirituality is only sitting quietly and reading sacred texts?  Souls in Motion will teach participants how to connect more deeply with God through movement and breathing. The series will be led by trained practitioners in energy healing, meditation, Qigong/Tai Chi, and facilitated by Dr. Swenson.

Helen is a certified Qigong/Tai Chi teacher and meditation leader.  Rasmussen began her study of these practices during her twenty years in Japan, where she was introduced to Zen meditation, centering prayer and Qigong for health and well-being.  She currently serves patients at Silver Hill Hospital, where she has been a meditation leader since 2013.

Catherine has been a meditation leader for many years and an energy worker skilled in balancing and charging the human energy field.  Following her graduation from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, Stroup joined the school’s teaching staff.  She also completed a three-year course at the Center for Intentional Living in psycho-spiritual development from childhood through adulthood.
